Pray for Romance by Trading Cherry Blossom Branches

Early each April, Kanegasakigu Shrine holds its Flower-Exchanging Festival. This festival is based on an old tradition: young men and women trade cherry blossom branches, as a prayer to find true love and happiness. Visitors can buy cut cherry blossom branches for a small fee.
