A Hands-On Camping and Learning Facility Surrounded by Nature

The Yatsusugi Forest Learning Center is an overnight retreat facility surrounded by forests. Visitors can rent campsites or bungalows, and relax and enjoy the seasonal beauty of nature, or learn about the great outdoors through educational hands-on programs.

Many different hands-on experiences are available here. The food programs include baking pizza in a brick oven, making baumkuchen cake, and cooking rice over a fire. The craft programs include pressing flowers, dyeing fabric with plant dyes, and making various items from wood. The outdoor programs include nature walks through the forest, bird-watching, and looking at the night sky through a telescope.
