Paint Your Own Daruma Doll, in a Unique Local Style

The Tsukamoto Folk Art Center offers a collection of Wakasa Lacquered Daruma Dolls of various sizes, on display for sale. These dolls are made using traditional Wakasa lacquerware techniques. Unlike most Daruma dolls, which wobble, these sit flat on a surface. Visitors can also decorate their own dolls.
