Echizen Daffodil Park

A Coastal Park with Daffodils to Enjoy All Year Round

Echizen Daffodil Park is located along the western coast of Fukui. From December through February, the hills of the park fill with tens of thousands of daffodils in bloom. In mid-January, the park hosts a weekend event dedicated to these flowers. The park’s Daffodil Dome offers a special environment where visitors can see hundreds of blooming daffodils at any time of year, and, from November through March, an indoor collection of other flowers related to daffodils.

In addition, the park features a gallery of daffodil-themed art, and informational panels about topics such as the daffodil’s significance within Japanese culture.
