Shibamasa World

A Giant Water Park along the Coastline

Shibamasa World, on the northern coast of Fukui, is one of western Japan’s largest water parks. Visitors can enjoy roughly 50 water slides, including giant raft slides, and various swimming pools, including a flowing “lazy river” pool, a wave pool, and an indoor pool.

There are amusement park attractions, too, including go-karts, laser clay pigeon shooting, bumper cars, and a roller coaster. Shibamasa World’s Kids Paradise features a kid-friendly climbing wall, mazes to explore, and a collection of creative toys from around the world.

A campground is available near the coast, with tent campsites, and private bungalows for rental. Discounts on park admission are available with overnight stays.
